The only desktop trading journal that auto-imports from any broker, tracks your funded account rules in real time, and shows you exactly where your edge is — all without a subscription.
Watch a full walkthrough of Oro's Journal — from installation to your first import.
Oro's Journal replaces spreadsheets, screenshots, and scattered notes with one clean app that does it all.
Drop any CSV and the broker is auto-detected. Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic, Interactive Brokers, TD Ameritrade, Sierra Chart — it just works. Import PDF statements to pull in fees automatically.
Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, max drawdown — updated in real time. Every number accounts for commissions and fees automatically. No manual math ever.
Hover any point to see your exact equity, balance, and EOD threshold. The drawdown floor trails your peak — exactly how your prop firm calculates it.
Color-coded daily P&L at a glance. Every cell shows net after all costs. Click any day to jump straight into that day's journal. Monthly summaries built in.
Pre-market plan, post-session review, lessons, mood tracking, custom tags, star ratings. Navigate between days without leaving the page. Complete trade breakdown with fee details.
Every trade gets a chart with real candle data. Entry and exit arrows mark the exact candles. Works with all futures symbols via Yahoo Finance data.
Built-in presets for Evaluation, Qualified (PA), and Personal accounts. EOD drawdown threshold, profit targets, daily loss limits — all enforced and displayed in real time.
Set your per-contract commission once and it flows into every calculation — equity curve, calendar, journal, drawdown. Import PDF statements to capture platform fees too.
Your data never leaves your computer. No cloud, no account, no login. Runs completely offline. Export JSON backups to transfer between machines or share with a mentor.
Drop your CSV file in. The broker is detected from the column headers — zero configuration.
Double-click the installer. Desktop shortcut created. Done. No dependencies, no terminal, no coding.
Pick a preset (Personal, Evaluation, PA) or enter custom drawdown limits, profit targets, and daily loss caps.
Export CSV from your broker. Drag it into Oro's Journal. Broker auto-detected, trades parsed, duplicates skipped.
Dashboard populates instantly. Review the equity curve, journal your sessions, and see exactly where you're winning and losing.

I was paying $30/month for TradeZella and still doing half the work in spreadsheets. Switched to Oro's Journal and got better analytics for a one-time price. The funded account tracking alone is worth it.
The PDF fee import is genius. I used to manually calculate my net P&L every day. Now I drop the PDF and it's done. Calendar matches my Tradovate statement to the penny.
I trade on NinjaTrader and my friend uses Rithmic. We both use Oro's Journal. Just drop the CSV and it figures out the format. No setup, no plugins. Clean.
No subscriptions. No hidden fees. No "premium tier." Every feature included.

Oro's Journal auto-detects CSVs from Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic (R|Trader), Interactive Brokers, TD Ameritrade/Schwab, TopStepX, and Sierra Chart. It also has a generic parser that works with any CSV containing standard columns (Symbol, Qty, Price, Date). If your broker exports to CSV, it'll work.
No. Zero cloud. Your data is stored locally on your machine in an encrypted store. Nothing is ever uploaded anywhere. The app works completely offline — the only outbound connection is Yahoo Finance for candlestick chart data, and even that's optional.
Yes. Oro's Journal has built-in presets for Evaluation and Qualified (PA) accounts with EOD drawdown tracking that mirrors exactly how prop firms like TopStep and Apex calculate it — threshold recalculated at EOD, trails the highest balance, never moves down, enforced in real time. You can also set custom rules for any firm.
Set your per-contract commission rate once in the Fees tab. It automatically flows into every calculation — equity curve, calendar, journal day totals, drawdown, P&L. You can also import your Tradovate PDF statement to pull in the exact "Trade Fees & Comm." amount. Everything shows net P&L after all costs.
Yes. Export your data as a JSON backup from one machine and import it on another. Your entire journal, trades, rules, and fees transfer in one file. The license is per-user, not per-machine.
Currently Windows only. A Mac version is planned for a future release. The app is built on Electron so the underlying code is cross-platform — it's a matter of building and testing the macOS installer.
Oro's Journal works for everyone. Select "Personal" mode in Account Rules and all the drawdown/target UI disappears. You still get the full dashboard, equity curve, calendar, journal, fee tracking, and trade log — just without the prop firm rule enforcement.
Every trade you don't review is an edge you don't discover.
